We are Dirk and Angelique, a couple from Haarlem, Netherlands, and the proud creators of Yuna. A few years ago, we stumbled upon the enchanting town of Viana do Castelo, and it was love at first sight. As a couple who adores kitesurfing, cycling, hiking, delicious food, and spending time at the beach, we found that Viana do Castelo brought together everything we cherished in life – the mountains, waterfalls, white sandy beaches, and perfect waves.
During our visits, we noticed that finding a rental home that catered to our specific needs was challenging. For example, Dirk, being 2 meters tall, struggled to find a bed long enough, and showers often fell short of providing the comfort he needed. We realized that comfort was an aspect that many rental homes in Viana do Castelo lacked.catcycling
