Our second Yuna Magazine is ready, and we’re happy to finally share it with you. It’s been a year since we opened our doors, and a lot has happened on the hill. So this edition reads more like a letter than a brochure, a few notes on what’s new, what we’re dreaming up next, and the places around Viana we keep sending our guests to.

A few things you’ll find inside:

The bath under the olive tree. Yuna Two now has its own Gardentub in the garden, warm water under an open sky, or a cold plunge after a day at the beach or in the mountains. Quiet, surrounded by birdsong, and connected to our irrigation so nothing goes to waste.

What we’re building next

There’s an outdoor kitchen taking shape behind Yuna One, and a small sauna we keep sketching at the very top of the land, where the view is widest. None of it is rushed, good things take time, and time is rather the point here.

The search for ‘Yuna Cabin’

Our next dream hasn’t gone to plan, true to form. We share the honest story of the house that wasn’t and the land that almost was.

And for your stay itself: a day out in Peneda-Gerês, the best mountain biking routes around Viana, and our updated little black book of local restaurants, the small, family-run spots we go back to ourselves.

You can read the new edition online from today. And of course, a printed copy is waiting on the table for our guests, ready to leaf through with a coffee in hand.

We hope it gives you a feel for Yuna, and for the part of Portugal we’ve grown to love.
